Terms of Service

The rules of the road—written like a human, not a lawyer.

📜

The Basics

By using QuoteTimer, you're agreeing to these terms. We've tried to keep them fair and straightforward.

TL;DR:

Use QuoteTimer for creating and managing quotes. Don't do anything illegal or harmful. We'll do our best to keep the service running smoothly.

QuoteTimer is designed for freelancers and small businesses to create, manage, and share quotes with expiration dates. That's what it's built for—please use it that way.

🔐

Your Account

When you create an account, you're responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure — use a strong password and don't share it
  • Providing accurate info — especially your email (that's how we reach you)
  • Everything that happens under your account — so keep those credentials safe!

If you think someone has accessed your account without permission, let us know immediately at cditofreelance@gmail.com.

✍️

Your Content

🎉 You own your stuff. Period.

All the quotes you create, client details you enter, and content you add—that's 100% yours. We don't claim any ownership of your content.

What we do need is permission to:

  • Store your quotes in our database
  • Display them to you (and your clients via shared links)
  • Back them up so they don't get lost

That's it. No weird stuff.

⚙️

The Service

QuoteTimer is provided "as-is". We work hard to keep things running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime or that everything will always work perfectly.

We will:

  • Do our best to keep the service available and reliable
  • Fix bugs and issues as quickly as we can
  • Keep your data secure and backed up

Sometimes we need to do maintenance or updates. We'll try to give you a heads up when possible, but occasionally things happen unexpectedly.

⚠️

Liability

QuoteTimer is a tool, not professional advice.

Important stuff to understand:

  • We're not lawyers, accountants, or business advisors
  • The quotes you create are your responsibility
  • We can't guarantee your clients will accept or pay
  • You're responsible for your pricing decisions

We're here to help you manage quotes, not to run your business. Use your own judgment (and professionals when needed) for important decisions.

👋

Termination

You can leave anytime. No hard feelings.

If QuoteTimer isn't working for you, you're free to stop using it whenever you want. You can also request that we delete your account and all your data.

We might terminate or suspend accounts if:

  • You violate these terms
  • You use the service for illegal activities
  • You do anything that harms other users or the service

But honestly, we'd rather work things out. If there's an issue, we'll try to reach out first.

🔄

Changes to These Terms

We might update these terms occasionally. When we do:

  • We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top
  • For significant changes, we'll notify you by email
  • Continued use after changes means you accept them

We won't make sneaky changes. If something big is happening, you'll know about it.

Questions or Concerns?

These terms got you scratching your head? Just ask—we're happy to explain.
